C. De Ketelaere scores twice and adds an assist as Belgium beat the United States 4-1

Belgium struck first after the opening minutes. In the 9th minute, C. De Ketelaere finished a chance created by N. Raskin to put Belgium 1-0 ahead.

The United States answered in the 31st minute, when Malik Tillman found the net to make it 1-1. Two minutes later, Belgium went back in front: in the 33rd minute, C. De Ketelaere scored his second of the match from an assist by L. Trossard, sending Belgium into halftime with a 2-1 lead. W. McKennie was booked in the 35th minute.

Belgium kept extending the margin after the break. In the 57th minute, H. Vanaken scored off a C. De Ketelaere assist to make it 3-1. Malik Tillman received a yellow card in the 69th minute. Deep into stoppage time, in the 90+3rd minute, R. Lukaku converted an assist from H. Vanaken to set the final score at 4-1.

Team numbers showed the United States with 56% possession and Belgium with 44%. Expected goals were 0.67 for the United States and 2.15 for Belgium.
