The incident reportedly happened during a June 28 IRL broadcast, when ExtraEmily appeared to glance down at chat while turning and came close to another vehicle. Clips circulated on social platforms, including X and Reddit, prompting criticism from viewers concerned about road safety.

After the suspension ended, ExtraEmily addressed the matter on a July 2 livestream. She apologized, said she felt bad about what happened, and framed the change as an attempt to avoid repeating the same mistake.

The episode has renewed debate around IRL streaming from behind the wheel. Asmongold was among those arguing that creators should not stream while driving and suggested alternatives such as using a rideshare or having someone else drive.
