Haeran Ryu leads the Women’s PGA Championship after three rounds at 11 under par, with Brooke Henderson one stroke behind and Ina Yoon two back. Yoon had held a commanding advantage but dropped ground with a third-round 75 in blustery conditions.
Yoon’s round included six bogeys, a sharp contrast to the scoring that had taken her to 12 under at halfway. The 23-year-old acknowledged nerves and putting issues after seeing her five-shot lead disappear.
Ryu produced a composed 68 after her second-round 64, doing enough to stay ahead despite tougher conditions on the back nine. Henderson, a past winner of this event, also remains firmly in contention at 10 under after a three-under round.
Nelly Korda is four shots off the lead after a one-under third round, keeping her in the chase for another major title this season. With wind affecting judgment on and around the greens, the final round could hinge as much on patience as shot-making.
