Crysencio Summerville completes West Ham exit for Al-Hilal

Crysencio Summerville has left West Ham for Saudi club Al-Hilal in an official transfer confirmed by the London club. The deal was reported by BBC Sport as worth £55m up front, with a further £5m possible in add-ons.

The 24-year-old Netherlands winger departs after two seasons at West Ham, where he recorded eight goals in 56 appearances. His strongest run came in January and February, when he scored in five consecutive matches.

Summerville’s exit comes after a difficult team campaign that ended with West Ham being relegated from the Premier League in May. On the international stage, he also featured in four Netherlands matches at the recent World Cup and scored in group-stage games against Japan and Sweden.

For West Ham, the sale adds another major fee to the summer’s outgoing business after Mateus Fernandes moved to Tottenham Hotspur for £85m. The key question now is how the club uses those funds as it reshapes the squad.
