Novak Djokovic beat Arthur Rinderknech 7-5 6-4 1-6 7-6 (7-4) to reach the Wimbledon fourth round and draw level with Roger Federer on 105 men’s singles wins at SW19. The result also gave Djokovic an 18th appearance in the Wimbledon last 16, matching another Federer men’s mark.

The match was far from routine. Rinderknech, the French 25th seed, recovered strongly after losing the first two sets and pushed Djokovic deep into a fourth-set tie-break before the 39-year-old Serb closed out a three-hour contest on his first match point.

Djokovic’s latest milestone places him behind only Martina Navratilova’s 120 singles wins at Wimbledon across the tournament’s all-time list. The 24-time men’s major champion will next face Roman Safiullin, who defeated Joao Fonseca in straight sets.

Defending champion Jannik Sinner also moved into the fourth round, beating Jenson Brooksby 6-4 6-3 6-4. Sinner’s serve was central to the win, with 13 aces and 87% of first-serve points won, though 27 unforced errors left room for improvement before his next match against qualifier Shintaro Mochizuki.
