Jordan Goodwin is expected to return to the Phoenix Suns on a reported three-year, $19 million contract. ESPN says the agreement includes a player option in the final season, though the deal has not been announced by the team.
Goodwin’s return would keep a productive reserve guard in Phoenix after he earned a roster place last season on a nonguaranteed deal. He averaged 8.7 points, 4.9 rebounds and 2.2 assists, while also leading the team with 106 total steals.
The move follows another reported multiyear agreement for guard Collin Gillespie, giving the Suns continuity with two younger backcourt pieces developed over the past year. For a team managing roster decisions around its core, retaining internal contributors appears to be an early offseason theme.
ESPN also identified restricted free agent Mark Williams as a remaining priority for Phoenix, with possible outside interest expected. Until official confirmations arrive, the Goodwin contract details and the wider roster outlook should be treated as reported, not finalized.
