Manchester United have reportedly agreed a transfer deal with Chelsea for Andrey Santos. The proposed move is said to involve an initial £48 million fee plus up to £2 million in add-ons, with the midfielder cleared to undergo a medical.
The report says personal terms are already arranged, which would leave the medical and formal club confirmation as the key remaining steps. Because the information is attributed to sources rather than official statements, the transfer should still be treated as pending.
Santos appears to have become a United target after the club missed out on Mateus Fernandes, who is reported to have moved from West Ham to Tottenham. The same report also addresses Éderson, saying sources close to United have pushed back on suggestions that his proposed move from Atalanta has been delayed by medical concerns.
For United, the reported Santos agreement points to a continued midfield rebuild, but the final shape of that plan depends on completed medicals, contracts and club announcements.
