Neve Jones will stay with Gloucester-Hartpury for the 2026-27 season after agreeing a contract extension. The club have not made public how long the new agreement runs beyond that campaign, if at all.
The 28-year-old Ireland hooker has been with Gloucester-Hartpury since 2022 and made 10 club appearances last season. Her retention gives the Premiership Women's Rugby side continued experience in a specialist front-row role.
Jones also remains a regular figure in Ireland's setup, with 46 caps since making her international debut. She was used from the bench in all five of Ireland's matches in this year's Women's Six Nations.
For editors and supporters, the key angle is continuity: Gloucester-Hartpury keep an established international forward, but the undisclosed contract length leaves some uncertainty over the longer-term squad picture.
