Fans in the UK can follow every Wimbledon match live through BBC iPlayer and the BBC Sport website and app, with daily coverage also planned on BBC One and BBC Two. The tournament is scheduled to run from Monday 29 June to Sunday 11 July.
The BBC’s plan includes a dedicated Wimbledon Extra stream on iPlayer, on-demand highlights, live text coverage, in-play clips, reports and analysis. Radio coverage is set for BBC Radio 5 Live, 5 Sports Extra and BBC Sounds, with a daily podcast also listed under the All About Wimbledon feed.
On court, Jannik Sinner is presented as the defending men’s champion and leading contender, while Carlos Alcaraz is absent because of a wrist injury. Iga Swiatek returns as women’s champion, and the field also includes major storylines around Novak Djokovic, Aryna Sabalenka, Elena Rybakina and a group of British direct entries and wildcards.
The source also notes a larger prize fund of £64.2m, including £3.6m for each singles champion and £80,000 for first-round singles losers. BBC coverage is expected to add new tactical analysis tools and an audio-described Centre Court feed designed with blind and partially sighted viewers in mind.
