Barcelona have signed American goalkeeper Tyler McCamey for their women’s team. The 24-year-old arrives after playing last season for Dallas Trinity FC, where she made 15 appearances.
McCamey, a Princeton graduate from Atlanta, joins a goalkeeping group that includes Cata Coll, identified in the source as a Spain world champion. Her arrival gives Barcelona another option in a position already led by an established international presence.
The move comes during a period of notable change for the European champions. Barcelona won a fourth Champions League title in six seasons in May, but the supplied report also notes financial pressure and recent departures including Alexia Putellas, Mapi León, Ona Battle and Salma Paralluelo.
McCamey is part of a broader reshaping rather than a standalone addition. Dutch defender Renee van Asten has also arrived from Ajax, while Caroline Graham Hansen has extended her contract for two more seasons.
