Jaylen Brown is headed to the Philadelphia 76ers after the Boston Celtics traded him for Paul George, two first-round picks and two second-round picks. The move gives Philadelphia another elite scorer while changing the fantasy context for both teams.
Brown arrives after averaging 28.7 points, 6.9 rebounds, 5.1 assists and 1.0 steals on 47.7% shooting. In Boston, those numbers marked career highs in points, rebounds and assists, but in Philadelphia he will have to share touches with Joel Embiid, Tyrese Maxey and VJ Edgecombe.
That crowded offensive mix may trim Brown's shot volume, but his broader production keeps him highly relevant for fantasy managers. Maxey could also see a smaller scoring burden, while Embiid remains the central figure for the 76ers when available.
For Boston, George brings scoring, shooting and defensive value when healthy, but his recent availability record adds uncertainty after he played 37 games last season. With Brown gone, Jayson Tatum becomes even more clearly positioned as the Celtics' long-term centerpiece, while Derrick White and other guards may take on more creation duties.
